Dear Pack 3 Families,

We had several more boys achieve rank this past month - that is very exciting. That shows that the boys and their Akelas are working hard to make the Scouting program work. Early in March our Pack was well represented in our Good Turn project at Edwin Warner Park. A great pinewood derby was hosted where all the boys had winning entries. We also collected books for the Brookmeade Elementary School Library as a Good Turn project. Thanks for participating and making Pack 3 a rewarding activity for the boys.

Following are highlights for April:

* April 3, 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Den meetings for Wolves, Bears, and Webelos

* April 17, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Den Meetings and Pizza Night - at Say Cheese in the Bellevue mall. We will host our den meeting there - after we eat pizza we will take a tour of their kitchen. This is being done in honor of our April theme, "Cub Café." NOTE: We will not have meetings at the school.

Brrr...it has been a cold past few weeks. I hope that you will be sure to
get out and join the warmth of scouting this month.

Following are highlights for February:

* February 6 - Wolf, Bear, Webelo dens meet

* February 13 - ALL dens meet

* February 18 (SUNDAY) - 5:30pm - 7:30pm - Blue & Gold Banquet (this is the February Pack Meeting) at Bellevue UMC Phone Robin Geny at 662-1812 for
reservations by Thursday, Feb. 15. Cost is $20 per family for Jim & Nick's
BBQ.

Pack 3 Families,

Special Request: The Pack 3 Blue and Gold Banquet is scheduled for Sunday, February 19, 5:30 – 7:30p.m at Belle Meade UMC. This is a special banquet where we go all out for decorations. I need a few parents who are willing to help coordinate the planning and decorations for this special evening. Our theme is a space theme. Please let me know soon if you would like to help with this.

The info for MLK Jr. Day is below – it looks like great weather. Regardless of the weather, most of our event will be indoors so it will take place rain or shine.
